3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or purchase any subscription or credits. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Subscriptions, auto-renewal & in-app cancellation
- Access to the research desk and assistant requires an active paid subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price until cancelled.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time directly through the in-app billing management portal (powered by Stripe Customer Portal).
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you retain uninterrupted access until that date, and no further renewal charges will be billed thereafter.
5. Credits and balance preservation
The service operates on a dual-track credit system (subscription allowance and purchased top-up credits). Cancelling your subscription does not forfeit or remove credits you purchased; purchased credits remain permanently associated with your account and become usable whenever you maintain an active subscription. Detailed rules are set forth in the Credits Policy.
6. Prices and taxes
Base prices exclude applicable sales taxes. Any applicable taxes we are required to collect under applicable state or local law will be calculated and displayed prior to payment confirmation.
7. Disclaimer of warranties ("AS IS")
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE, DATASETS, AND AI-GENERATED OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED STRICTLY ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
The research assistant is powered by third-party large language models and may generate outputs that contain errors, omissions, or outdated insights. The outputs are intended solely for academic and business research reference and do not constitute legal, financial, tax, or professional advice. Unsuccessful recurring payments immediately pause research access without a grace period; access restores upon successful payment synchronization.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ECHO BRIDGE INFORMATION INTELLIGENCE LIMITED, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00 USD) OR THE TOTAL AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Refunds
Refund eligibility, deadlines, and operational conditions are governed by the Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
10. Governing law & class action waiver
- Governing Law: These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without giving effect to any conflict of law principles.
- Class Action Waiver: YOU AND ECHO BRIDGE INFORMATION INTELLIGENCE LIMITED AGREE THAT ALL CLAIMS AND DISPUTES MUST BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY.

- 您可以随时在站内的「管理账单」入口（由 Stripe Customer Portal 提供）自助取消订阅。
- 取消在当前已付计费周期结束时生效：在此期间您仍可正常使用全部功能，到期后不会再产生任何后续续费扣款。
5. 积分与购买余额永久保留
服务采用双轨积分机制（周期订阅额度与单独购买的充值积分）。取消订阅绝不会清空或扣减您已购买的充值积分；购买的积分将永久保留在您的账户中，只要重新开通有效订阅即可继续使用。详细规则请查阅《积分规则》。

基础展示价格不含适用税费。我们根据适用州法或地方法律依法需要收取的税费，将在您付款确认前清晰列明。
7. 免责声明（“按现状”交付）
在适用法律允许的最大范围内，本服务、数据集及 AI 生成的分析结果均严格按“现状（AS IS）”和“现有（AS AVAILABLE）”基础提供，不附带任何明示或默示的担保，包括但不限于对适销性、特定用途适用性、准确性或不侵权的保证。
AI 研究助手由第三方大语言模型驱动，生成结果可能包含偶发错误、局限或非最新信息。输出仅供学术与商业研究参考，不构成任何法律、财务、税务或商业专业建议。扣款失败会立即暂停研究权限且无宽限期；付款同步成功后权限立即恢复。
8. 责任限制与赔偿上限
在适用法律允许的最大范围内，ECHO BRIDGE INFORMATION INTELLIGENCE LIMITED 及其董事、雇员或代理人对任何因使用本服务而引起的间接、附带、特殊、后果性或惩罚性损害（包括利润损失、数据丢失、商誉损失或业务中断）概不承担责任。
在任何情况下，我们对您的全部累计赔偿总额不得超过一百美元（$100.00 USD）或在引起索赔的诉由发生前十二（12）个月内您实际支付给我们的总金额（以较高者为准）。
9. 退款
退款资格、申请时限及处理规则受《退款政策》管辖，该政策构成具有约束力的条款组成部分。

- 准据法：本条款以及因本条款引起的任何争议均受中华人民共和国香港特别行政区法律管辖，排除法律冲突原则的适用。
- 集体诉讼弃权：您与 ECHO BRIDGE INFORMATION INTELLIGENCE LIMITED 一致同意，所有索赔与争议必须以个人身份单独解决，不得作为任何集体诉讼、代表诉讼或联合诉讼的原告或成员提起。您明确放弃陪审团审判的权利。
